SAD BOOK

2019 - 2022: I worked with 201 Dance Company, London on storyboarding their adaption of Micheal Rosen’s Sad Book. After a hit rating at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival it is back on tour in 2025. Based on an award winning book illustrated by Children’s Laureate Quentin Blake that explores the complexities of grief and how to communicate that to children.

An experimental book project I made for my English Lit degree: a postmodernist short story about a disappearing girl caught shuttling between two catastrophes in Mexico. Printed double sided on large architectural tracing paper inside a screen printed material cover with paper fold pocket.
